It is not easy to tell people difficult things, particularly as an empathetic counsellor. However, I see this as an essential part of the role. I must be honest with you, though with great care and sensitivity.

Ultimately we will work to allow more conscious choice in your life.

For example: changing how you respond to stressful or emotional events, deciding on meaningful goals to pursue, or asserting boundaries in your relationships.
